Terracotta Flooring
Terracotta is quite simply ‘baked earth’. Specially prepared clay is placed into moulds and fired to produce floor tiles that can be used within any room in any home. The colour and texture of the terracotta tiles varies depending on the type of clay used and the temperature at which the clay is fired.
Recently the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford purchased a number of Terracotta tiles from Burgess Reclamation. To read more about this click here

Handmade Terracotta
This handmade Terracotta is mellow orange in colour. However the colour may vary slightly due to the process in which the Terracotta is made.

Farmhouse Terracotta
This Terracotta is fired at much higher temperature than other handmade terracotta. The finish is a rough texture and the colours are predominantly yellow, mixed with red and purple.
