Reclaimed Bricks

Yellow Stock Bricks
Yellow stock bricks can also contain a black fleck which is due to small amounts of ash within the brick turning black when the brick is fired.

Wirecut Bricks
Wirecut bricks are a dense, smooth faced brick whose name derives from the ‘wirecut’ method from which the bricks were made. This traditional wirecut method involves the bricks being cut from large blocks of clay using wire, then being fired in kilns.
We like to have a large supply of around 30,000 wirecut bricks in stock.

Reclaimed Mixed Multi Stocked Bricks
Reclaimed mixed multi stocked bricks comprise of approximately 60% red and 40% yellow within a pallet. The bricks can also contain a black fleck.

Handmade Bricks
Handmade bricks often date from around the 1800′s to the early 1900′s. As the name suggests, handmade brick were moulded by hand in wooden moulds then placed to dry in the firing kilns.
A certain amount of distortion and shrinkage took place during firing which gives handmade bricks a unique look.
